- Design of Extra low voltage systems like: Telephone system, music, P.A., T.V. Systems.
- Design of Security Systems for Access controls, Duress alarm and CCTV surveillance., Fire Alarm system, etc.

The total scope of Plumbing / Sanitation system Design works shall in general cover the Design, Quality Control of all the items mentioned as follows,
- Design of gravity / direct pumping / hydro pneumatic system as per the project application & local norms reqd.
- Design detailing of Underground &Overhead water storage tank.
- Design of centralized hot water system as per the local norms & plumbing code practice.

The total scope of Fire Protection System Design works shall in general cover the Design, Quality Control of all the items mentioned as follows
- Design of Fire Protection Systems with underground static water storage requirement as per TAC/Indian Standard Codes / Local Fire Authority’s. The Fire Protection System shall consist of external & Internal Hydrant system as required for different areas.
- Design and layout of external/internal hydrant system.
- Design and Layout for Automatic Sprinkler system.
- Design and Layout for Drencher System in Car Park and Basement Areas.
- Layout of fire extinguishers & Suppression system as per requirements.
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
The total scope of Fire Alarm System Design works shall in general cover the Design, Quality Control of all the items mentioned as follows
- Design of Fire Alarm System using Detectors / Call Points / Annunciation system hooked up to main panel.
- Preparation drawings with special conditions of contract Technical Specifications,
- Schedule of Quantities, List of Approved Makes/ Material etc.
- Identify specialist contractors and assistance in finalizing the rates of works to be awarded. (If required.)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Feasibility Study for various alternates.
- Study of Master Plan / land use Plan / including client’s requirement.
- Outlines design norms, design criteria, and broad design practices.
- Study of existing System.
- Study of site facility and architectural drawings.
- Proposal of our requirement including identifying space requirement of all equipment & tentative locations.
- Conceptual Planning & Design Base Report (DBR)
- Detailed Engineering Drawings (GFC Drawings)
- General & Technical Specifications with Data Sheets
- Bills of Quantity with detailed Cost Estimation.
- Techno – Commercial Evaluation
- Project Management with Periodic Site Visits.
- Verifications of Shop Drawings from Vendors (If Any)
- Assistance in Testing & Commissioning of Systems.
- Review of As-Built Drawings.
- Co-ordination with architect’s related projects/contractors (regarding designing & their requirement for PLUMBING & FIREFIGHTING projects).
APPROACH &METHODOLOGY
- Analysis of the basic requirements of the Client and Associates for the various systems to be provided in the project.
- Establishment of design criteria in consultation with the Client and the Associates.
- Preparation of " Preliminary concept " consisting of:
- - Preliminary designs
- - Preliminary drawings
- - Preliminary cost estimate (For study and discussion)
- On approval of the "Preliminary concept", the final drawings incorporating the comments of the clients and associates will be prepared.
- One set of detailed drawings along with draft specifications will be
- submitted for approval.
- Upon receipt of the approval / comments from the client /associates a set of tender documents consisting of detailed designs and working / execution drawing, Bills of quantity and detailed Technical specifications and final estimate shall be submitted.
- Invitation of the tenders on behalf of the client where required, review and analysis of bids and assistance in letting contracts.
- Preparation of drawings for submission to appropriate Licensing / sanctioning authorities.
- Issuing to employer, certificates of cost estimates for submission to financial and other institutions.
- Checking vendors and contractor's submittal of shop drawings, material and equipment.
- Whenever necessary inspection of the same at either site or at manufacturers place.
- Broad supervision of the contractor's work through occasional visits to site.
- Number of visits to be decided on schedule of work and actual progress at site.
- The supervision pattern will be planned in a manner to ascertain that the work is executed as per standards, specifications and of highest quality.
- Scrutiny and certification of contractor's bills, measurements being recorded by the clerks of works.
